Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 17, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how AskTuvo ("AskTuvo," "we," "us") handles information when you use asktuvo.com and our services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to this Policy.

1. Information we collect

  • Business profile you provide: industry/NAICS, state/location, and any certifications (e.g., veteran-, women-, or small-business status) you choose to enter.
  • Account information: if you create an account, your email address and a securely hashed password.
  • Usage activity: which matches you view, save, or dismiss, and email preferences — used to operate and improve matching.
  • Technical data: standard logs (e.g., IP, browser type) collected by our hosting and infrastructure providers for security and reliability.

You may browse with an anonymous session before creating an account. We do not ask for, and you should not submit, sensitive personal information beyond what is described here.

2. How we use information

We use your information to: provide contract matching; send the digests/alerts you opt into; maintain your account and security; and improve the Service. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for third-party advertising.

3. Service providers we use

We rely on reputable providers to run the Service, who process data only to provide their service to us:

  • Supabase — database, authentication, and storage.
  • Vercel — application hosting.
  • Resend — sending transactional and digest emails.
  • OpenAI — generating plain-English summaries of public government solicitations. We send the public contract text for summarization; we do not send your personal account data for this purpose.

4. Government & public data

Contract opportunities shown in the Service come from public government sources (such as SAM.gov and official state/local open-data systems). That information is public record and is not personal information about you. See our Terms for important disclaimers about that data.

5. Security

We use row-level security so that you can only access your own data, encrypt data in transit, and keep service credentials server-side. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

6. Data retention & your choices

We keep your profile and account data while your account is active. You can update your profile at any time, turn off email digests in your account settings, and request access to or deletion of your account data by emailing us. Some records may be retained as required for legal, security, or operational reasons.

7. Children

The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

8. International users

The Service is operated for the United States market and concerns U.S. government contracting. If you access it from elsewhere, you are responsible for compliance with local laws, and you consent to processing of your information in the United States.

9. Changes

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service means you accept the updated Policy.
